Sara Ruvinsky, PT, MSPT, CEAS
Sara has been a practicing physical therapist since graduating from NYU's physical therapy program in 1998. She later received an Advanced Masters in manual orthopedic physical therapy from Touro College and is also a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS). Before starting Sara Ruvinsky Physical Therapy in 2009, she was one of only 2 advanced clinicians at Beth Israel Medical Center specializing in the treatment of spinal disorders. Presently, Sara treats a diverse patient population and specializes in the treatment of the spine, pelvis, and hip, prenatal and postpartum conditions, as well as gait and balance dysfunctions. She feels passionately about educating all of her patients about the importance of utilizing proper postures, body mechanics, and ergonomics in daily life. She has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education and continues to do so in order to stay on the cutting edge in the field. She enjoys running, cycling and the great outdoors.
