Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

The pelvic floor plays an important role in core stability, bladder and bowel control, sexual function, and overall pelvic health.

Factors including childbirth, trauma, muscle imbalance, stress, and perimenopause or menopause can affect pelvic floor function and contribute to pain, pressure, and other uncomfortable symptoms.

I provide personalized in-home pelvic floor physical therapy for women with conditions including:
  • Pelvic floor muscle dysfunction
  • Chronic pelvic pain
  • Vaginismus
  • Vulvodynia
  • Tailbone (coccyx) pain
  • Painful intercourse (dyspareunia)
  • Urinary leakage / incontinence
  • Urinary urgency or frequency
  • Constipation
  • Fecal incontinence
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Pelvic pressure

These symptoms can feel frustrating, isolating, and difficult to talk about. But you don't have to navigate them alone. My goal is to create a supportive, compassionate environment where you feel heard, comfortable, and empowered throughout your healing process.
"I discovered I had an overactive pelvic floor that made sex painful and a routine OB visit so uncomfortable that it caused me to yelp in such a way that my doctor immediately prescribed pelvic floor PT! I chose Sara because she offers home visits, and from our first session she was professional, thorough, and gave me clear guidance and practical “homework.” Within a few weeks I noticed real improvement, and soon after sex was no longer painful.  I was amazed at how much progress I made with just one session and her support."
